Curtis Slater on pelannut Vaahteraliigassa, GFL 1:ssä sekä ELF:ssä, joten kokemusta pelikentiltä on kertynyt vuosien varrella paljon. Hän uskoo, että Butchersin kova työ ja aiempi menestys siirtyvät luontevasti tälle kaudelle.
”I selected to sign with Porvoo because it’s been a long time coming, a couple years since wanting to team up with these guys and the Butchers organization and finally everything has lined up accordingly. Excited and ready to get things rolling for this season.”
Curtis jatkaa:
“I believe that with the hard work that has been put in and the success the team has had in the past, things will transition and carry over to the upcoming season. So my expectation is for guys to stay locked in, show up and show out. I believe that everything will take care of itself if we stay focused and business will be handled if we do just that and stay together as a team through the highs and lows that can occur throughout the season.”
